Where are the sounds in Yahoo Messenger 8.1?

I have yahoo messenger 8 but the sounds n alerts are different from the previous version i want the old sounds

Just choose the preference option from the messenger menu and then select the alerts and sound option from menus on the left side of the preferences window and then you may be able to find your old sounds or copy the sounds from your old messenger on your harddisk and then select the browse option from alerts and sound option and then select them.

i didn't like the sounds either, i think its a bug. hopefully they will make another update and fix that. till then i'm happy customizing my alert sounds i just went to my preferences and re-linked them to different sound files in my Windows Media folder
