Can you suggest a free e-book in Visual Basic .NET good for beginners in programming at the college level?
-
I teach a first-level, "Introduction to Programming with Visual Basic .NET," course at an English-speaking college (CEGEP) in Quebec. I am looking for a free e-book for the students, many of whom have never programmed before. Ideally, it would contain many examples and problems or exercises I could assign to students. Do you have any suggestions? If so, how would this book compare in quality to the ones you normally have to purchase for "big bucks?" Thanks.
