How to change the font characteristics of name of the icons in the desktop?

    I am not so familiar on manually transforming font type on the default windows setup, what i did is i used Windows Blinds(by Stardock) to change the fonts, not only that, but also change the appearance of your PC TOTALLY. You can download the free version of Window Bliands here: http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ I hope i helped.

You cant really change the name of the basic ones ones on your desktop as far as i know, but there could be a work around

its pretty easy. right click while u r on ur desktop. then go to personalization to apperance and settings. under appearance and settings go to advanced appearance and settings. there u can change it

right click your desktop, choose properties, in appearance menu choose advanced and there from the "Item" drop down list choose Icon and then specify font face and font size and color.... ;)
