Web 2.0 is the term coined to describe social web. Things like Facebook, MySpace, even yahoo answers. Generally, they all have some kind of way for users to get involved and share. Even things like blogs are considered "Web 2.0". They allow the authors to reach out to the community and for the community to reply via comments. This is great for marketing as it keeps users coming back to a site. Red Bull's latest website revamp/campaign is heavily around blogging and updating their site content so that users will check it regularly, which in general is great for business. Web 2.0 allows for a more personal/relationship based marketing campaign.
