Why does firefox close when i watch a youtube video? (ubuntu)?

  • hey guys, i was wondering why does firefox shutdown when i watch a youtube video? or any video, even ads it's really annoying when you want to watch some vids. also why is it so laggy? i tried Opera, Firefox, Konqueror and alot more i'll give you an example on how slow my computer is, i have a good internet connection and i bought 60$ worth of RAM and i got no idea what it is, heres the example: if i play Runescape and i walk and it says "Loading please wait" it takes more then 10 seconds to load sometimes, very annoying.i really need some help, Thanks!

    1. Try restarting your computer. This solves most problems. 2. Update Firefox and Flash. 3. Do a anti-spyware and anti-virus scan, update them before you scan. 4. Close down any internet programs running to improve internet speed. 5. ??? 6. PROFIT!

I think your youtube video plugin is not working properly or may be your system having some problem in software just run any live cd of linux like SUSE and see weather in this operating system u r facing the same problem or not. Suse will not make any change in your hard disk so don;t worry to run live cd............... if you not found any problem in suse then your os is creating problem just reinstall your os. :)
