  • Answer:

I take it that as a graphic designer you are a creative person. If you would like to move into animation (there is a lot of programming to it and allows for a lot of creativity as well), I'd suggest ActionScript (which is the programming language for Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Flash). It is a bit hard to learn though because you need the Flash software and know the basics of it as well. Also, it depends on what you want to program (webpages, windows applications, games, etc.) All programming languages are similar in some basic sense and if you just want a basic idea, I'd suggest starting with web programming (the advantage of this is that you see your results right away without having to learn about compilers, code errors, etc.) Start with html, which is NOT a programming language, but it is easy to learn. If you like coding html, then move on to JavaScript. JavaScript is NOT Java, but a scripting language that you can run on Internet Explorer or any JavaScript enabled browser (most new browsers are). You do not need a compiler, it is free, and you can see what your code does right away. For a good html and javascript tutorial, go to http://www.w3schools.com After you go to that webpage, click on "Learn HTML" then go back and click on "Learn JavaScript" Good luck and best!

Might want to study some English also.

you can read about computer and you will get to know a lot about it ... no need to study it ... studying is so different than what you think

Try something in computer graphics. Look into Macromedia Flash to start with.

i recommend Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2005 (Express Edition) It's free from the Visual Studio Website. it's an easy to learn programming language and just download MSDN Library for more help (the whole thing is about 500+MB on his HDD)
