Mod rewrite help?

hello, is it possible to use apache mod rewrite to change a url to another. e.g., i have a site www.mysite.com/blogs and instead i want it to be like www.mysite.com/articles how could i do that please no links :( i do know how to google

RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^/blogs/(.*)$ /articles/($1) You will want to make sure that the module is loaded in your httpd.conf LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so Also you might want to use alias instead if it's just a directory because it'll be faster instead of every url going through mod_rewrite, especially if you want both directories to be accessible. Alias /blogs /articles
