How do I make website for free and make money using it?

Ok. Me and my friends have a great Idea fior a website but we need help. How do we even make a website.. I know we could use web hosts but if we did could we make money off of it if we used a web hosts.. I really dont know much about the internet.. I've never had a computer class even but my friends know more than me.. If you have any reccomendation on books that we can get to read about this kinda stuff or any website we could visit or someone to talk to to share our ideas or somnething then please let me know.. I would really appreciate it...
