What is digital media arts?

Any information about Graphic or web design or any digital media arts.?

• I was looking into the art Institute or FullSail but before i look more into it i was looking for some information about the digital media arts that both schools provide and i was wondering if in web or graphic design if you have to know how to draw or if its just good computer skills.

  Ideally, you should develop some good drawing skills. With both graphic and web design, it's the creativity that comes from the designer that makes work successful. Anyone can learn to be great a computers, but not anyone can learn to have ideas and draw them out. I have my degree in graphic design and have a certificate in web design and authoring. Now I do freelance work. In all classes, whether classes of on the job, drawing skills have been a necessity to illustrate ideas and relay them to the client before executing them on the computer. In the art institute, the first year doesn't involve computers, just hand work. If you don't opt to go there, take a drawing class at a community college. It will really help you. Good luck!
