How to enable remote connections in SQL Server 2008?

Visual studio 2008 problem?

i have download a dot net project.its a medical shop management system.this project have a microsoft sql server database file.in visual studio 2008,i have create a new connection and i have add this file in "data connections".then i opened this project in visual studio 2008.then i pressed F5 for debugging.and a form is coming for user name and password.there no user name and password in table,when i check data connection.there is only two cell with NULL value.how to debuge this project.please help me.
