How to create a social network?

How can I allow my members to create profiles on my social network and instantly update them?

Hi, I am starting a social network, again, after my not succeful last one, because in the last one, you would log in, and ty;pe what you wanted to appear on your profile. The form would be sent to my e-mail address, and I would have to log in to the page on my site where their profile was and just copy and paste the bit they had typed. Please tell me where or how I can get profiles that will update themselves almost instantly? Please I was only 13 last month, so nothing over complicated please. Thank you.

I am not a pro but you are talking about server side scripting. Something like PHP/ASP or ASP.Net. Which is not simple in the slightest. I could be wrong and you end up needing something even more complicated. But here is a website you might need. http://www.w3schools.com/ Good Luck
