How to add text to a GIF in Photoshop CS5?
-
I made a GIF from a video using Photoshop CS5 but I'm not sure how to add text to it. I want the text to be on all of the frames/layers but when I put it on the GIF it only stays on for the first frame/layer, even when I highlight all of the layers and then add the text. I must be doing something wrong, please help me out? :)

Answer:
It's because Photoshp is primarily an image editor not a video editor. Even if you highlight all the layers, Photoshop can only work with one layer at a time. What you have to do is put the text on a transparent layer then duplicate the layer on every frame you want to have that text displayed.
