Can I transfer video files from apple macbook pro to PC?

I want to use a macbook pro as a monitor with a firewire to my videocamera.I am using a 350 gig external drive to store my videos then I want to transfer them to my PC at home for editing on adobe premiere pro and after effects.Will I run into any troubles with file transfers from mac to pc?

No you should not have any problems at all. MOD and TOD are recording formats for use in digital tapeless camcorders. The formats are comparable to XDCAM EX, HDV and AVCHD. So if you transfer any standard type file like. jpg .mp3 .mp4 etc etc you never have problems. It is just standard that every single computer manufacturer, operating system and other software manufacturer or consumer product manufacturer does adhere to.
