Answer:
Now you need a web hosting plan compatible with dreamweaver. Just refer to: http://www.threehosts.com/dreamweaver As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your website: 1- Buy a domain name. A domain name is a name you want to call your website (ex: www.yahoo.com). To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name. Godaddy is a good place to register domain names, but my brother had some problems with their web hosting services over his website created with dreamweaver. As an experienced webmaster I recommend BH web hosting which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them. You can reach reviews about this web hosting provider and its latest DISCOUNT COUPONS at: http://www.threehosts.com/reviews/1st They also offer "Free Site Builder" that helps you build your web pages without difficulty if you are not skilled in using any website creating program. (WYSIWYG: What You See Is What You Get) You can use this service optionally. You can also create the pages offline with your favorite program (DreamWeaver, FrontPage, Microsoft Publisher, iWeb etc.), and then upload them to your web host. This is another easy way to get your website online. ******IMPORTANT******** * This service was awarded “The Best Web Host OF The Year”. * If you sign up for this service you will have $75 credits to advertise your website with the google & yahoo search engines for free! * You Can Register A Free Domain or Use Your Existing Domains. They Support All Domain Names. **************************** Another useful link: http://www.threehosts.com/build There you can find a step-by-step guide to start your website with more details. Hope This Helps.

Buying a domain name is totally separate from designing a website and hosting a website. These are 3 different components which go hand in hand. You should decide up on the name of your website and search and select an appropriate domain name. Register it and get the website designed. Once ready, go for a suitable web hosting and upload the website, connect the domain name to the web hosting server. Ensure that your web host provides you a cPanel so that you can manage the server better. I recommend you to try iPage. Yes, they are separate products. However, most hosting companies also allow you to purchase your domain through them and they will manage it for you. Being a GoDaddy customer myself, I would recommend that you also host with them seeing as you purchased your domain name through them. Very reasonable plan for 14.99 a month for more room than you will most likely ever need. Support is great at GoDaddy, so I suggest that you call them and they will happily walk you through all the steps. Good luck.

They are related, but completely different things. a domain name is basically what you type in the address bar on any web browser program to go to that website. The domain name is used to cross-reference a name to a web server that is hosting a website. For example I used "www.yahoo.com" domain name to have the computer find the address of the yahoo web server and then have my computer go to the yahoo web server that hosts the yahoo websites.

They're two separate things. I own five domains, and they're all hosted at the same place, but three different domain registrars are involved. You need not buy hosting from GoDaddy, but they might be willing to make you a deal since you already have the domain.
