Hey, I'm a web developer here I can help you. Check out Go Daddy or Google your question. Go Daddy (I had to use them to build a complete website/cart for my final project at school) but they are one of the cheapest out there. But if you Google, you will also be offered comparable offers from other hosting sites. You can also check out The FreeSite.com They are a Search Engine that offers freebies of all sorts! Good Luck to you! OH...Regarding the taxman...Ask your tax advisor in your area/state. They vary from state-to-state. As far as the counter goes... I'll google your search. You need a special javascript and I never heard of a counter for the amount of things you sell...I heard of them for the number of visitors on your site at a time or the number of times your site is hit. Most webhosting companies (like GoDaddy) offer templates for website creation. You can also check out a webdesign program like Dreamweaver or Frontpage for some cool web-based business templates that would really draw your customers in!! Message Board Forums...Check the FreeSite for those too or Google!! I'll leave some links for you...

I haven't found a free host that doesn't have banner ads (yet). Those that are free monitor your band width and when you exceed a specific number of hits in a time period, they pull you offline to cut down on your activity. You really need to find a fee hosted site, they will have all sorts of tools for you to use, counters, templates etc.

You can buy web hosting from website like http://aplis.net/ . You may also contact a web designer at websites like http://www.getafreelnacer.com/ , http://definitivelab.com/ .

1) no free hosting wothout banners unless your broadband provider gives it to you free with your package. But a cheap one is 1and1. they sell domain names and hosting for cheap. 2) download or buy an e-commerce pre built site from a template site, or create one by following an example in a web development book. An e-commerce site will have the basic requirements for selling on a website (e.g shopping basket, stock control, price calculator, description/image etc) 3) Word of mouth is the cheapest or local advertising on your local newspaper, also you can pay search engines to become a more popular search result. For example if you type in designer clothes to buy on google the first name to pop up will do so because they paid to or they are a very popular hit for that search. there are also company's that will send links of your website on spam mails or popups but that is quite a bit more expensive. 4)Monster Templates for me has been the best for getting templates, they even have some that are free and in flash. 5)again, download a forum template for this or read a tutorial book on how to create one yourself. 6)you will only have to start paying tax on what you earn from this if it makes over a certain amount of money. But if you are already in a job earning money then you will probably have to start paying tax on your profit, best to keep a record of sales and profits made.

i don't think you'll get all that for free. I use 1&1. go to their site - they do various packages to suit, never had down-time and they do e-shop,forum,templates,counter,web editing program, but you will have to pay something - we all have to!

Ok you could pay for Hosting, and get more bandwidth, space and other benefits, or.... use http://www.freehostia.com That is a very good free host, mysql, php, has its own free scripts, all in all ace! and you have the OPTION to upgrage for more benefits. Even has a choice of subdomain if you dont want to buy one! That kind of counter would best be in the form of either a database you write in mysql, or a shopping cart script (there are E Commerce Shopping Cart Scripts on Freehostia.com as well.) Depending on what your selling, try selling one offs on http://www.ebay.co.uk or other auction sites now and then, and have a link to your website there. Also if you want to use a specific address for your business, use http://www.google.co.uk and type in a business type and your area and then add your self to google maps. You will get hits from that as well. A website template, hmmm.. It depends on what site you are after, there are hundreds of sites out there that offer free templates if you have a link back to them. Or you could pay a college kid a few quid and have them make you one! Hell they need the work as much as you need the template! With regards to the message board, again with freehostia.com, the message board scripts in there can have every comment require moderation, so until you have agreed... nothing gets posted live. You get 3 months before you must register your business, even registering as a sole trader, You can call your self something really flash as long as you have on the same page / paper {yourname here} Trading as {SuPeR FlAsH GrOoVy BuSiNeSs NaMe} then when you register your sole trader business, if it kicks off really well and you start selling loads, if you get a good accountant, they can save you a fortune by writing things off as expenses, like your electric, teabags, sugar.... and so on.... (check with a registered accountant, I am just going on what a friend told me there) Anyways, Good luck... I am kinda curious what your selling though!
