What is the best web browser?

  • I want to know what the best web browser is. So far they all suck! With google chrome pictures take forever to load and the interface is annoying. I like internet explorers interface and feel but its kind of slow and the mouse pointer skips around. Firefox is slower then IE and crashes constantly. Finally Opera is just so ******* slow. So I force myself to use chrome because its fast but theres got to be an alternative web browser that has none of these traits. Also it is not my computer its very new fast and powerful .

    It's personal opinion, but you listed the main choices. And I don't want to be rude, but IE, Firefox, Opera, and Chrome are all fast if you use them right, so either your standards for computers are too high or your computer isn't so very fast and powerful. I mean if you have like 120 tabs open and are streaming 30 Hulu/Youtube/whatever videos at once or whatever, you can't expect lightning-fast response.

sounds like your isp (internet service provider) is the problem, not your browser. Google chrome is the fastest browser I have ever encountered other than Chromium for Linux. (if your computer has internet explorer you dont have Linux) you should contact them for information on how to speed up your connection.

There is most likely something wrong with your computer. I've always used Firefox and Opera, and have never had a "Crash". Especially if it "Crashes Constantly", it's your computer, not the browser. Ranked Best Top to Bottom: Opera Firefox Chrome Safari MSIE

Personally, I like Google Chrome. It's fast and there are no toolbars to annoy the hell out of you. It is has a lot of simplicity and overall it is easier to use.

I like Firefox 4 Beta and IE8. Also I like Opera, I don't like chrome or Safari and have not tried any other than those 4. I would suggest at the moment Firefox 8. I have had problems with Firefox 3.8 chrashing however. Opera has nice features such as mouse gestures and was the first one I knew of using the "new tab" with many icons, Chrome does this now, and you can get Google Toolbar to do it (however I have had problems with this. I don't think that there will be a browser better than these, but I will wait. I am very interested to see if any browsers that I have not heard of come up and beat all the ones I've tried.

Firefox does it for me. Has add ons and is so easy to use. Of course I have IE as my default browser, as I don't want to upset my updates and other stuff MS likes to send to me. So I use two browsers, but Firefox is the better one. If you want to speed up the browser, get rid of some of the firewall like stuff they have on. I have a firewall, why do I need their 'surf protection' add ons, slowing everything down.

I've never had problems with firefox. and you can use add ons to make it faster like AdBlock Plus it blocks the ads so you dont need to wait for them to load. delete your history/cookies every once in awhile they slow it down. firefox is teh best fer sure. IE is for people that love viruses and spyware safari is normal chrome has google spyware opera is just stupid

Try Safari or Flock. One of these should meet at least part of your requirements. I personally use Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
