How do I convert a video file into .EXE file?

The same old question again :D That's called "wrapping" not "converting"; you can wrap whatever file into an exe file structure. I don't think you will find any help around, if you are not a programmer, then leave it; otherwise, make you own avi wrapper! Thanks.

cant. you can add the .exe extension but that don't make it an executable file.

It is easy. Just use winzip to create a self extracting file (e.g. "Video.exe") You can then send it or store it, but you will not be able to watch it without extracting it to it's original form. Why do you want a video file in ".exe" form anyway ? it won't play of a DVD or in windows media.

You could compile the file, as when you would click the .exe it would launch the video, but there's absolutely no point in doing that. Why do you wanna do wtih your .exe file that you can't with your video file?

you cant convert a video file to an exe!! can't possibly see why you would need that facility, unless your being dodgy!! ;) anyway, what you need to do is create an autoplay cd and point the exe file to it using a command to open media player! this will work from cd, but not from hard drive, or downloadable file! also u need to ensure that the video file is in a relevant folder, with a .txt file so u can write the relevant media info!! it's so much easie to double click!!! ;)

You can't do it directly. You have to put it into a player that launches from an EXE. You can, for example, make a VB program with a Windows Media Player module that is linked to your video file so when someone launches the exe it spawns a form which has a player on it, which then calls the video. But you need the actual video files to be with the exe module.

If you are desperate for a file ending .exe, you could just change the name of the file, but I would not reccommend it. .exe is for Program files, for example you are probably viewing this using Program File "Iexplore.exe". Video files tend to better left in their original format, or converted to some other video format.

Then import the video you want to be an .EXE Resize the Stage of the flash that would fit to your video. then simple export it and again open the exported file or the swf output then click make exe on the menu of the swf... then open the folder where u save the swf and see an exe file from...
