Where can I download brushes for the GIMP?

I need help with making blends in "GIMP". where can I get really pretty brushes?

  • where can i get nice BRUSHES and FONTS for gimp, and are they free like the program? and also, is there any other effects i can download? i'm really into making celeb blends and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could find some FUNKY brushes and fonts. also, anyone have a tuorial on how to add text and make it go on a slant or curve? thanks!

    Hello. I'm a Gimp user, try to download brushes from here: http://www. deviantart.net Search for gimp brushes! To deform a text you can use Iwarp filter, in its interactive mode. Fonts: you have to learn how to download fonts for gimp.Ive written this for ppl who dont know how since im only 10 and still just a beginner.This will be so simple im not gonna post pics. Ok here it is: Step 1-Go to http://www.dafont.com Step 2-Pick your fonts there Step 3-Dpwnload the fonts Step 4-After downloading go tot he folder u downloaded to and unzip it there by extracting all files. Step 5-Go to control panel and go to fonts. Step 6-Find the install fonts button at the top. Step 7-Install ur font from the folder you extracted them to. Bye ^^
