My iPod touch is having music problems?

• Do you know how when you first buy your ipod touch or iphone it has that *connect to i-tunes* picture on the screen and it doesnt let you turn it on until you connect it? (and download the software) And also do you know how when on your iphone or ipod touch you can put a 4 digit security code that you need to enter everytime you turn on your ipod? Well I put one on there and it was 6667 Anyway also you know how whenever you plug the iphone or ipod touch into i-tunes it says *please unlock ipod first* because you cant use it on i-tunes while its security locked on your ipod obviously... Well today my ipod FOR SOME REASON turned off and when i turned it back on IT HAD THAT SCREEN! that *connect to i-tunes* screen, it wouldnt let me enter my ipod :S Well anyway i was like 'okay then...' and went home and plugged it into my computer and guess what........ IT SAID *please unlock ipod* and im like wtf? i CANT UNLOCK IT because it doesnt LET ME even go to the main menu to unlock it!!! so theres 2 problems, 1st: i need to unlock the ipod security, 2nd: I cant because it wont let me into the ipod in order to unlock it.... WHAT do i do!!?? :( Dont tell me i have to buy a new one because i have all my videos (movies) music (500>) photos (1500>) and applications! some of which i payed over $20 for! So what I'm asking is: Can I get it to turn on without having to put my security code? is there a way around this? Thank you so much for helping me :)

  I have no idea what you're talking about. I use the passcode lock on my iPhone, and I never have to unlock it to sync with iTunes. I just plug it in and it syncs. Is it still under warranty? You may be able to take it to an Apple store and have them fix whatever is wrong with it.
