Why can't I get my messenger to load?

My kids put yahoo as home page now i cant get yahoo messenger to load i reinstalles yahoo still cant get on ?

It's not your kids. Yahoo Messenger is just down.

yahoo messanger is down for everyone i believe...because i cant get on mine either...its very aggravating, but there is nothing we can do about it!
