What is HYPERLINK?

HOW DO I USE IT and what for ?

Answer:
A Hyperlink is a graphic, piece of text or any object on a page which either leads you to a website address or another page in the document. All Microsoft Office Products allow you to hyperlink to another page in the document, another document, an email address, a web page. You can hyperlink it many different ways. One defenition for a hyper link is: A link from a hypertext file to another location or file; typically activated by clicking on a highlighted word or icon at a particular location on the screen. OR: <hypertext> A reference (link) from some point in one hypertext document to (some point in) another document or another place in the same document. A browser usually displays a hyperlink in some distinguishing way, e.g. in a different colour, font or style. When the user activates the link (e.g. by clicking on it with the mouse) the browser will display the target of the link. You can use a hyperlink in office products by clicking on the icon that shows a world and the a chain. It will allow you to then pick what you wish to hyperlink your text or information to. (email address, webpage etc.) I hope this answers your question!
