You can do this in geocities, or in notepad, if you create a webpage with notepad you can later post it on the web in geocities. hi friend there are many ways to create a website. the very basic tool is using Microsoft Front page. this is one of the very easy-to-use software which most of have. you can easyly choose many template or u can create a wesite using a buil in template. also there are plenty of online free web designing software and free hosting servers. but try to select a good one. if you are interested in doing an online business then u can create website in vstores.com im not sure about the website it may be like v-store.com or vstores.com im not sure abt that. and also the best way to do online business is in ebay. coz if u r going to create a website and if u need to accept credit card then u need to have veising symbol in ur website (an embeded software from verisign). so thats very difficult taks. or if u wanna create awebsite for just tell about u and ur hobbies and to display ur resume the the best way is to use bravehost.com website. this website has many features including affiliate program also they provide FTP access. or if ur ready to spend $10 to $15 per month then u can host ur website in a reputed server were u will be able to receive many details about ur website and howmany people isited ur website in a day.... everything like that. or if u think that u need to create ur website in ur own then u can do that using macromedia's dreamweaver of flash... or even u can swish. it u wanna see how a flash website looks then go to google and search for "free flash website templates" or some other suitable key words. try to search for some resourses from google.om. or if u would like to learn html then u can learn it from pleanty of website. u can download many study materials for free from the internet.

Well it depends, you can offer a package without being certified if you're doing it freelance, but you won't be able to get hired at a company. And to start from zero will be difficult. It is a tough business. I also recommend w3schools.com, but I would also encourage you to learn Flash. I taught myself flash a few years ago with the help of a great book called flash in 24 hrs. Depending on your level of experience, I advice you that you search for classes at your local college, especially if you are a beginning. It will give you a good idea of the whole process of creating a website and from there it will be easier to pick the rest on your own.

You don't need anything like that. Just look around and you'll be able to find someone who'll get you started. There's also a book called, "HOW TO CREATE THE COOLEST WEBSITE IN CYBERSPACE" Also, you'll need dreamweaver, and some type of photography program such as Fireworks. GOOD LUCK!
