How to create a free flash website online?

How to create or rather upload a simple website based on your flash movie?

  • Hi guys...i was wondering if anyone could help me out here...my brother took a summer course for Macromedia Flash and taught me a few extremely basics...My cousins love those basics and i know how to create buttons and a basic my-style layout for a website...My question is how can i upload that .swf movie over the world wide web and obtain my personal website address for free.....Preferably could anyone teach me a basic simple way....I'd be extremely grateful if i could have my own website with my own created .swf movie :) :)

    It's easy -- the .swf file is treated as a regular file - you just reference it in your .html file and it will load IF the client browser supports flash.

Ok, you will need a program or a website that will publish/ create websites. Example: Dreamweaver or http://www.freewebs.com/ Convert the flash movie to HTML Code, copy and past the code into the web program. Publish your movie to the web. Video tutorial: lynda.com

You need to find a free webhost that permits you to upload files using FTP. Most do, but some make it kind of confusing. If you want your own domain, you would have to buy it. Most sites will give you a url like www.freewebhost.com/myname.
