How can I make my website popular?

  • Hi. I've just created a website at the following URL: http://www.freewebs.com/x9999999999/ I spent the whole day HTML coding it, presenting it, creating the graphics, and writing all the text. But sadly for me, there are still 0 views. My question is this simple : How can I make my website more popular? Please feel free to add suggestions and I will try to try out each one. I really want people to visit my website. It gives me courage to continue creating works of art. Thank you. Your contribution to me is priceless.

    by advertising it... try on friendster. ^_^ just tell the people there to view your site by sending them a message..

Well it will be a bit tougher for you, because your page is a free webs. But you still have some options, I have a few off the top of my head. You can submit your website URL to major search engines such as Google or Yahoo. If you are not familiar with Google Adsense, it is an advertising program. You put ads for your site on other peoples site, and everyt ime someone clicks on that ad you pay 10 cents. Hope I helped.

If its art your peddling, join deviantART, worlds largest art community and collection of art.

Advertising. Get some affiliates. Have them put there link on your website and your's on theres. Some forums have a web link section. You can post your link on the forum and get people to look at it. A MySpace Page. Post the link on your webpage. Put your website on Google, Yahoo, and other search engines.
