How do you set up a dot.com website?

Buy a domain name for about 10 bucks. Then you will have to subscribe to a web hosting service for about normally $7.95 charge per month. After you do that you will have to visually and technically DESIGN your site from scratch (literally), it can be kind of tricky sometimes, it takes alot of patience and know how. Any illustration graphic software can get you there, like Corel draw, Adobe illustrator, Xara Xtreme Pro 4, or even inkscape. If you don't know how to use these programs you can use the self build it programs that are included with some web hosting sites. Bluevoda, Vodahost.com have visual tutorials that explain and simplify the raw design process. Even Yahoo provides this service.
