How do I get Yahoo on my cellphone?

How do I get yahoo email coming to my cellphone stopped? I've tried contacting yahoo cust. srvc with no help?

  • I am getting charged .15 for every mobile email hitting my cellphone and tried using all the instructions provided by yahoo to stop with total failure. It is costing me about $40each day for these unwanted emails. I followed all instructions and even called customer service and written, too, but no results - I keep getting the emails. I want them ALL to stop but can't seem to do it. My carrier says it is strictly up to yahoo to stop sending them yet yahoo still sends them. Help - what can I do?????

    Your cell phone company CAN make it stop. I had the same problem. Usually, if you threaten to go with another carrier, they'll fix it for you. I was getting bombarded by someone else's Yahoo mail.

the easiest way is to put the wrong login credentials. ie put the wrong password then the mailbox will give access denied and wont allow you to download messages. you could also delete the mailbox from your phone. you could also configure your spam blocker to autodelete spam messages (i think you have to do this via the internet first) which would allow you to only recieve 'wanted' emails. there are a lot of options actually these are only a few.

The solution is probably under Yahoo's Mobile section instead of their email section. I seem to remember a link or a checkbox selecting email to be sent to my cell phone.
