How do I create a landing page for my website?

• Hello everyone, I want to start a service business and I would like to create my own lead generator website where somebody interested in my service can fill out their info and submit it etc. I want to have my website listed on the first page of google so a customer can enter search words see me on first page of google, can click and go to my landing page. I do not know how to do it or have the funds. Any help from the Yahoo community appreciated

  If you don't have the funds, then you are defeated before you begin. You must buy a domain name, pay for hosting that domain name, set up the server-side script to process your lead form on subnit, properly code your site to the latest web standards so the pages validate both for CSS and HTML, make your logo/banner, when done with all this and you have set up your meta tags properly and are ready, then submit your site to all the search engines. Then WAIT until your page rank increases to move you up on the search engines. Can't let your pages go static so fresh content should be added from time to time. You can pay Google to place your site link like the others do that appear at very top and in the side bars.
