How to turn picture into large printable poster?

Is there any possible way you can turn a 445x446 picture into a 800x630 poster?

    Give photoshop a try. You are enlarging quite a bit so it may not come out quite so good. You probably can't convert to vector art to enlarge it unless it is line art and not a picture with a bunch of colors. Can you maybe fill in the rest of the space with some text or something else? If you are doubling the size of the image it probably isn't going to look so good printed out. That is also going to be quite a small poster if you are looking to get it professionally printed. I fiqure about 150 pixels per inch to get it printed out nicely.

you would have to use some good photoediting software but the bigger the more degraded the image. if you use software that converts it to vector graphics then (i think) it can be enlarged without degrading the image.

Unless you have a high resolution image (150<) then you can't enlarge the image without loosing quality!
