How do I tag people in my tumblr posts?

I wrote something about a friend in a post on tumblr. & I want to make sure she sees it. Is there a way to tag her?

You want to put her first name as the tag? Then you go into the tag box and put her name there. Or, do you want to tag her URL in the post? If so, you can either put @herusername her, or you can copy her URL, paste it in the caption box, highlight it, once you do that, two buttons will appear. Click the one next to the tree icon. Then you can name the URL.

When you make a post if you look to the left where it says "Publish now" you'll see a box that says ''tags'' click on it and you can tag your friends URL in their and it'll come up in her tracked tags.
