Starting a website need help with Linux server and Flash frontend?

I am in the process of starting a website I need to know what Linux is and do I need it for Flash frot end How can I find someone to help me design for a reasonable rate! I am at wits end trying to figure this out! HELP! :/

Well, I'm not sure about the Flash frontend, but I definitely know about linux. Linux is an operating system, just like Windows, and can thus be used to run a server. I you have your own server, (which I don't think you would) you should consider linux because it is free and frequently used. I the server you are hosting the site on is not physically yours, you won't really need to worry about operating systems.
