Is there a way to wait 5 seconds BEFORE allowing an IFRAME to load?
-
Basically, google maps allows you to create a custom, movable map for your website using an IFRAME. This is a great feature. However, loading the map takes some CPU power and causes the 4 second flash animation that happens when each page loads to become very choppy and prolonged. I'd rather wait for the flash animation to be done and then have the page load the iframe containing the google map. Any thoughts?

Answer:
If you know some javascript, then the problem is solved. put the <iframe> code in document.write("<iframe . . .") and put this in a function say delay(). Now call this function by setTimeout("delay()", 5000). But if you don't know javascript then maybe anyone else can help. !!Greetings!!
