How to convert the content of a scrollView to a Bitmap?

Is there a way to convert a JPEG into a Bitmap image?

  • I have a picture I want to convert to a Bitmap image. How would I do that?

  • Answer:

Copy into Paint. Save as bitmap. You will lose quality doing this.

Yes. There is. Simply use MS Paint.

Open it in MS Paint. Click "file", "save as", and then in the drop down list beneath where you can name the file is should give you options for the type of file you want to save it as. Click ".BMP" and hit save! Also rename it here if you wish.

if you have a mac, change the part that says .jpeg to the bitmap file thing and click enter.

just about any imaging software can do that, even the simplest ones. open the jpeg image with it then save as bitmap file

For a quick fix, open the image in MSPaint (you know, paint, under "accessories" in the start menu). Once the image has been opened, click "File>Save As>" and then below the field where you name the file, select the file type as "Bitmap (.bmp)." Hope this helps!

I don't think the quality is going to get any better. A jpeg is a compressed file and the visual quality is usually lost when a picture is converted to a jpeg file so if you're trying to make the image look better it's not going to help converting it to a bitmap image. Buf if that's not what you're trying to do then you can just use MS Paint and open the file and Save As a bitmap.

double click to open picture and then choose save as and save as bitmap. Or open start-programs-accessories-paint then file open - get your file and then save as bitmap 24bit for full color and big size!

Almost any image editing program will convert from one format to another. I would use IrfanView (freeware, downloadable from www.irfanview.com). Just open the image in the program, go to the File menu, select Save As, and locate the .bmp format in the little format window. Then save the image.

(this only works if you have windows. i have no idea how it works on a mac.) open windows explorer by pressing the start key and E together. go to the picture that you want to change. it might be in "my pictures" somewhere. right-click on the file and select "rename." keep the same name, but this time change JPEG or JPG into BMP. press enter.
