How do you make a collage on your computer?

How do you make a collage of images saved on your computer if you have windows?

  • I have a bunch of pictures on my computer that I really want to turn into one big collage and set it as my desktop. I would really appreciate it if I knew how to.

  • Answer:

Every computer has paint or some version of that so just go to that and make as simple or exciting collage as you want Then save it under a name you would know Go to where you would normally change your background Then click the browse button and find the picture and hit set as background (or save or some version of that)..... Or once you save the image you can go to file(on paint) set as background

Most people would suggest the Paint program that comes installed on most computers. This is the easiest, however I find it's not very convienient. If you have Microsoft Office or Microsoft Powerpoint, open Powerpoint and select "Insert Image." You can pick the photos you want and put them on the slide show window, resize them, move them around etc. Then, once you're satisfied, go to "Save as" and save as a .jpeg, .png, .gif, etc. image -- basically any average image file will work. Then, you can set it as your desktop. Programs such as Paint will also work, as well things such as Gimp, Photoshop, etc.

I use a program called PhotoMix to make collages then I save them as jpg files and load them to my desktop for a background. Works great and you can create a collage any way you want...they even have templates.

Open up paint, and copy and paste those images you want into paint... save it as a "jpeg" it would work best.

You should use an image editing program. Judging from your question I would point you towards a program called Paint.NET, it is free and has a vibrant community to help you if you get stuck.

Get Photoshop CS3 from http://www.adobe.com/go/tryphotoshop. It's the best graphic design and edit tool available. Then open a new document at any size you want, may be 800x600. Then Drag the photos you want into photoshop. After that photoshop will show them all sequentially. Now one by one drag them into your new opened document. After all save it as a jpeg and quality 100. You can even write some text on the pictures.

Try using the paint program. simply size the blank image to fit your computer screen size then go to 'Edit' choose 'Past from..' and put the pictures together however you'd like.

Im pretty sure that there is a option like that on the program Google Picasa, and I think that you can dowload it free. I had it on my other laptop so im pretty sure that it is possible. I hope that helps!!
