Answer:
hahahahhahaa. YES. I used a Win95 for 5 years on here. then a 98. now a XP. Win 95 can get on anything your computer can now. providing you have a modem. it should have one in it. if not, put one in it. 95 was not slower then. per modem say. programs were not near as BIG as today. I remember downloading ICQ 9 years ago. The ICQ program was 1 meg. Yahoo messenger was short of 1 meg. Look how BIG they are today. 95 had processors, anywhere from 90 meg, to 225 meg, maybe once in a while a HOT one would be 300 meg. They are 2.0+ gig today. 95 did anything for us, you do now, except, like emoicons in messenger, all the animated things to play with. They have programs loaded up with so much toys, for kids, it's unreal how BIG simple programs things are. Going from Windows 3.1 too Win95 was like going from the 1800's too 1900's with electricity. 98 was a smoother improvement. 2000 was a whole new breed of animal. 95 will work today, it would be slooooooooooooooow. .

depends what connection dialup you could if the isp supports lower speeds but high speed you have no chance as dsl and cable connections use newer protos not slip which 95 uses newer protos are raspppoe or raspppoa for dsl and ssl for cable and so its very high improbile that high speed internet will connect

Win 95 can connect to the Internet. The Internet has been around prior to '95. See the below site for a history. http://www.isoc.org/internet/history/brief.shtml#Origins Origins of the Internet The first recorded description of the social interactions that could be enabled through networking was a series of memos written by J.C.R. Licklider of MIT in August 1962 discussing his "Galactic Network" concept. He envisioned a globally interconnected set of computers through which everyone could quickly access data and programs from any site. In spirit, the concept was very much like the Internet of today. Licklider was the first head of the computer research program at DARPA, 4 starting in October 1962. While at DARPA he convinced his successors at DARPA, Ivan Sutherland, Bob Taylor, and MIT researcher Lawrence G. Roberts, of the importance of this networking concept
