What kind of backgrounds do you like to put in your computer backgrounds?

For my desktop backgrounds, I like either ambient vector-type artwork or natural landscapes, both preferably with a dark color scheme. Why? Simply because it makes it easier to see all the icons on my desktop. :) For web page backgrounds, I normally wouldn't use an image at all. It just makes things harder to read.

i like pictures of nature, or landscape kind of stuff i guess i don't mind if they are of man made things like buildings or whatever. but i like things to get wallpapers that are serene, clean looks to not make your desktop look too busy, and i like images that give a feeling of being high up or like floating, a sense of depth i guess. i've had some of the earth from orbit, from up in mountains, asian gardens. i don't really stick to pages, every once in a while i do a google images search and build a repertoire i eventually go through. or if i ever see a picture somewhere i like i'll try to find it on the net.

Hi..^^ I was trying to get pink heart beats. Pink hearts beating. Plain red is to strong to the eyes to look at in the compter. Interchanging it sometimes to others, like images of people, landscapes, oceans or rivers, floral designs, animals or pets, classic designs, graphic designs, funny images, fantasy 3D's or comical designs. I just make sure that the colors are soothing and we can clearly see the icons. ^^

I take alot of pictures of nature and use them as my desktop. I live in Pennsylvania so its not hard. The one i have right now is of a river. I have other ones of a rainbow and mountainsides. I don't use pictures of people cause the screen's so big it distorts their faces and it looks weird. Just look around and cut and paste pictures you like. Its not hard
