How to shorten classpath?

Java. where must point environmental variable classpath?

• I want to execute a java program using cmd from desctop. I have to set Java_Home; Path classPath Where must point classpath????

  ok so i am assuming you have windows 7 or XP. so to set up the path do this: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0\bin<----------------… this, but change it if your bath is differnt then press the start button and right click my computor(or just computor). then click on advanced system settings, and click the button that says Environment Variables(dont mess around with this area becuase its senstive) In System Variables find the path varaible, double click it, and in Variable value go at the end and type this: ;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0\bin then press ok, and ok again for System propeties. Then to test it type in javac in the cmd.
