In past experiences I have found having a keyword density of 1-4% and each page consisting of 500 or less words. For instance I normally use my keyword phrase 3 to 4 times per page. I will put it somewhere in the opening paragraph, body and closing paragraph. I also like to use put it at the very bottom of each page implying a visitor contact us regarding the keyword phrase. Example: Contact us regarding (keyword phrase) today at (phone number) or email us. I used this for a chiropractor site and it has worked wonders.

The formula for the density is d = m/v, where m is the mass and v is the volume. The SI unit for density is kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m^3). You can find more information here:http://localwebmarketer.co.uk/
