How long does it take for a professional to make a 3D model?

• Okay, I asked this question once before a few days ago...and everyone just said stuff like. A long time, or ages, or hours. I'm looking for a number figure. #-## example (2-10 hours....5-50 hours.) I'm talking about figures of high quality, photorealitic quality. I need to know for serveral very important reasons. 1- Either I will have to work for 3-5 years to become a professional, and I need to know how long each model will take for that reason. Or 2- I will need to higher a 3D artist who will likely work by the hour to make models for me, and thus I will need to calculate the cost of such a project. So please...don't give me that "hours, ages, a long time' stuff. I need to know an actually numer figure in hours. That's the only thing that will help me. Please- Photorealitic model...how long ....educated estimate in hours. It's important to me. Please. And thank you greatly.

  It depends. A typical house (from floorplan): 7-10 hours; a typical car: 8-12 hours; a complex ship: 40-60 hours; a military helicopter: 50-70 hours; an early medieval church (Romanesque): 15-25 hours. What kind of models are you getting made?
