Can you put verizon service on a Palm Centro designed for ATandT?

Which Verizon phone is better the Palm Centro or BlackBerry Pearl?

Im getting a new phone soon. I like the Palm Centro because of the keyboard and I love to text so that is very important. I like the Pearl because it is smaller but I prefer the Palm Centro's keyboard. Does anyone have any additional information to what I already know. Which one should I get?

The palm centro's keyboard is great! it takes some time to get used to but after a while its fine. I also like the setup of the centro better than the pearl. Get the Palm Centro :]

The Centro because it has a full qwerty which is better than the pearl's suretype, it has a lot of great free applications, and it has a touchscreen.

If you are looking for a full-QWERTY keypad then also look at the BlackBerry Curve, which has a better keypad than the Centro, in my opinion.
