Virtual families iphone app: entire family deleted?

today, i was playing virtual families on my iphone, and i accidentally pressed the home button while playing. when i went back to the app, the game was starting completely over, and my entire family was deleted. has this happened to anybody else? does any body know how i can get my virtual family back without starting over? as you can see, i am an avid virtual families player and extremely desperate for answers.

That just happened to me! Except i didnt press the home button or anything. I was using the app fine, exited the app, then went back to play 15 minutes later and everything was gone!!

I absolutely love that game. This has never happened to me but it sounds like you may have to start over. Since you pressed the home button, nothing in your family was saved and thus it has all been deleted. The chances of your family being recovered are very slim. I suggest doing a lot more research before you give up. Good luck.
