How can I install Blackberry Desktop Manager?

Okay so I tried to install an application on my blackberry from the BB Desktop Manager and it gave me this message. "Validation failed because a module marked for update (net_rim_bb_qm_api) is not available on local disk" I search the web for answers but it said that in Application Support I should be able to find a folder called "Blackberry Desktop" which I wasn't able to find. I did however find a "Blackberry" folder which had nothing of real use in it. Please help. Phone: Unlocked to AT&T Verizon BB Tour 9630 Comp: iMac (10.6.4) I update the question periodically in response to the answers.
