Can I charge my BlackBerry Curve while it's on?

Blackberry Curve not holding charge? ?

• I just got a blackberry curve in mid-august of this year... for a while it charged fine but for the past couple of weeks the charge dies extremely fast. Even if I'm not using it the charge goes down very fast. I have to charge it like 3 times a day, which is ridiculous. I don't have anything on there that should be taking up battery life. I've tried different outlets, and I've tried using the USB instead to charge it, but the same thing always happens. I also checks to see if any of the little gold things were missing in the phone, they're not. Anyone know what's going on!?

  If you have already checked to make sure there are no applications running that you havn't added recently (especially those that connect and download often like news/rss feeds), then check to make sure your phone screen is really turning OFF when you place it in the holster. I have seen where the magnet in the holster is broken and phone's screen stay lit all day, draining the battery fast. Since it's still somewhat new, you can talk to your provider and see if they can give you another battery at a discount (or free). My curve was bought in April and still holds a charge for 2-3 days.
