How do I fix this problem with my iTunes?

Who knows how to fix my itunes and ipod problem.?

• I just got my brand new 4th gen 16GB Black its a nice ipod by the way. Anyway ipod problem first, When I got the ipod and put it to charge it seemed fine, then after that i will turn it off and the next morning it will loose a bit of battery like a quarter. I thought it was supposed to last for 24 hours for music.Another thing I will listen to for five minutes and i will see the bar go down not a lot though but i could see it go down. Do I need ot exchange it or something? Now the itunes problem, I will go to itunes and right when I get on it, it will say ITUNES HAS STOPPED WORKING A PROBLEM CAUSED THE PROGRAM TO STOP WORKING CORRECTLY. WINDOWS WILL CLOSE THE PROGRAM AND NOTIFY YOU IF A SOLUTION IS AVAILABLE. And it will close itunes. so what do I do to fix the problem. Please tell me what I should do to fix these problems I need help please help me!!!

  As for your iPod problem: make sure you have it SHUT DOWN and not just in close (sometimes i make that mistake with my iPhone). If that doesn't work, you should call up iTunes or look at their SUPPORT part of their website (below) that can probably help because you're problem is probably a normal one. If all of that does not work, I would go into an apple store or wherever you got it and just exchange:) As for the iTunes problem: that seems like a strange problem I would just uninstall the iTunes and reinstall from their website (below). Using a copy trans program (also below) you should be able to transfer all of your iPod material back onto your new iTunes. That's what I did, but if all of this sounds to confusing to you, feel free not to do it. But I hope this helps:)
