How do i update my blackberry curve ?

  • i have a blackberry curve from about a year ago .. i want it too be like the 8520 and have installed the update onto my computer but now what do i do too put it onto my phone ? x

    best way is to download the blackberry desktop to your pc. www.blackberry.com/desktopsoftware then connect phone to pc with usb cable, when all connected click on device on the desktop then updates, it will back-up your entire phone data then install the update and finally it will restore all phone data.

If you are talking about updating the operating system to be more like a newer model, blackberry doesn't allow that on older software versions before blackberry 7. Blackberry 8520's were out a year ago so i have to assume that you have a blackberry operating system that predates that?, that would blackberry 4 or 4.6 or something along those lines. The best you may be able to do is get a theme that will look like, the newer version otherwise you'll have to sell your phone and buy a newer one.
