Why is my MSN frozen?

Why is my computer getting frozen whenever i listen to music or just watch movies online or normally?

• my computer screen is getting frozen whenever i watch a movie online, through DVDs, listen to music via windows media player or any other app, whenever someone signs in on msn. It dosent get frozen if i just normally do random downloading. CAN SOMEONE GET ME SOLUTIONS!!!!!!!!!!ASAP!!!!!!!!!I HAVE A PROJECT TO DO SOON !! THANKS
