How do I sync music from my computer to my Blackberry Bold?

Why cant i transfer files to my blackberry 8310 from my computer?

i bought a blackberry curve 8310 online. i try to put music to it from the computer, but it wont work. It is saying i should turn on Mass storage, I turn on mass storage but it still saying the same thing, to turn on mass storage. What could be wrong? i have tried two media cards and its the same problem. i also installed the bb desktop software. and the device does not show in My Computer. nor windows media player.(sync) any advice anyone. needs your help. thank you......

Options icon - Media Card Media Card Support: On Mass Storage Mode Support: On Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected: Prompt or Yes Make sure you press the Menu key and select Save Try connecting again. Make sure you plug the USB cable into your phone first then into your computer.
