Bluetooth why wont it work?

i got a new phone today an LG cosmos i paired up my computer bluetooth with my phone.im trying to send a sound or picture from my computer to phone but it keeps saying"unsupported file format" i dont have a chip for my phone what does that mean"unsupported file format" ? and how can i send pics or sounds to my phone from computer??

Answer:
some phones wont use computer file types, and whatever one your'e sending is 'unsupported'. this is a really great use for the user's amnual, btw...
