Blackberry Curve Theme HELP?

Should I get a Blackberry Curve w/ Verizon? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…

  • I can't decide between the blackberry curve or the palm centro. I have had palm before and love it but I hear really good things about blackberry. I don't mind going with blackberry but I just have a few questions. First off, if I go with the curve (on verizon network) and I get the unlimited Blackberry data plan (I think it is like 44.99 or something like that) plus the voice plan and stuff, is that all I need for everything to work right? I have heard from some people that with blackberry you have to pay for your special "blackberry internet" separate from the data plan and everything else. This doesn't make since to me because it sounds like the "unlimited blackberry data plan" would be just that unlimited and include internet. A second question I had was about the Palm centro. I love palm and wouldn't mind sticking with them but the dark blue centro that Verizon offers seems to me to be somewhat unprofessional. I could be completely wrong. I have also heard it described my many women as "a cute little phone". I don't want a cute little phone, I am a guy. Guy's aren't supposed to have "cute little" anythings. Besides, all that I am really intrigued by the blackberry. I would like to give it a try but I guess I am just nervous. As for price on the the verizon network, with the 450 minute voice plan, the "unlimited Blackberry data" plan, phone insurance, and taxes I am guessing I will be paying about 130--140 dollars a month. Does this sound right? Thanks for you help. Any other plans regarding blackberry and/or palm are welcomed.

    For the first question, Verizon offers an unlimited personal BlackBerry data plan for $29.99 per month. The $44.99 plan is if you want to use the BlackBerry Enterprise data plan. For the second question, only you can determine if the color suits you. The Curve is a great choice. With the Curve 8330 you will have access to e-mail, Internet, instant messaging, video recording and picture taking, and lots more. I think it is a great choice.

Hello... I am also with Verizon, and have a blackberry (Pearl). The unlimted data plan for the blackberry is only $30. It includes EVERYTHING you would need to fully function your blackberry. There is no blackberry internet only charges. You have access to unlimited email, browser, and the exclusive blackberry messenger (to contact other blackberry users instantly). I dont blame you on the "cute lil phone" thing. I have the pearl, but my man is very manly and I cant see him with anything less than a Blackberry Curve (which is what I got him). I have the 450 voice plan and the total for the month is $79.00 (which is the min. for blackberry with Verizon). I added 500 text messages, insurance (which is a must), by the time you add all that and taxes, my monthly bill is $94.00 a month. Im content and happy with that considering I utilize every part of my blackberry. Good luck with your choice!
