What is better a sidekick LX or the Tmobile Wing?

Who have a sidekick LX? TMOBILE?

• Since after the over the air update, my sidekickLX has been acting up. It will automatically switch to "emergency calls only" which means I can't use my phone at all and when someone tries to call me it goes straight to my voicemail. So I've called Tmobile and the technical support explain to me that there's a tower in my area that is broken and someone is working on it right now. That doesn't sound right to me because my husband and mom both have tmobile and they live with me and they have no problems with their phone. Anyways, so I can't live without my phone so I went to settings then to network option and scan it to Tmobile then it works again but it'll switch back to emergency calls every couple of hours then I have to repeat the steps again in order for my phone to work. Does anyone know whats going on or expericing the same thing with their sidekickLX?

  That sounds pretty rough, I work there so I understand how much of a headache it is to be told something that sounds like a complete lie. I get customers in your shoes often. Still sometimes there are tower issues on our map that shows specifically for people under certain area codes, certain phones, certain blocks of a city. You can never really tell if they lied or not. Still if you dont beleive the technical rep because there have been times that I have asked for a supervisor while working there, I suggest that you do the same and ask for someone higher. Ultimately you should only have to wait for a week or so for a tower issue to get fixed normally unless its really bad. In which case you may be able to get your phone swapped through warranty if its bad enough and you escalate well enough. Call tmobile up again and cause a storm til they compensate you or fix the problem. I hate to say it since I work there but we do understand thats the only way things get taken care of sometimes. Still just to be polite, dont be angry until you realise the supervisor cannot do anything, otherwise getting angry will cause the call to mysteriously drop or the representative will get bullheaded and not xfr you anywhere.
