Can I download games for my PSP when its version is 5.50?

Is there a possible way to download psp games without downgrading or changing from the official firmware?

    Make sure that the folder ISO is Capitalized... And in the Vsh menu on whatever firmware you are using make sure the driver is on M33, and the game clock is on 333. Let me know if this helped you in any way.

You should downgrade and install custom firmware in order to play free games. There's no other way. custom firmware 6.2 is the same as the official one.
